Last summer, as part of a general revitalization of Maverick Square, an entire city block in East Boston enjoyed an Extreme Makeover. Residents received new gutters and siding, windows, doors, window boxes and flowers. The most recent endeavor was the renovation of a satellite location of the Boys & Girls Club of Worcester that included a SportsCenter Five Zone, an updated gymnasium, study space and refurbish the interior and exterior of the building.
